2. What’s your major? What year will you graduate?
Art Education. 2018
3. Why did you choose a photography class (or photography as a major), and what do you hope to learn from school in general and this class specifically?
Photography has been a passion of mine for quite some time. I have been getting paid professionally to do it for about a year and a half now. I love photographing people and capturing moments that people will be able to look back on for years to come. I hope to learn a little bit more about photoshop from this class. I have Lightroom and Photoshop and know Lightroom quite well just wish I knew more about photoshop.
4. What are your goals after graduation? Please list your goals in reverse order, starting five years out, then three, two, one, and six months.
5. Have a family and have my job of teaching highschool year book and coaching highschool cheer or gymnastics.

3. Be graduated from college and getting a job at a middle school or highschool close to my hometown
2. I take pictures of alot of highschool seniors. I would like to be on the "Hot 100" list for senior portrait photographers from the magazine Senior Style Guide.
1. Not have to work a part time job and be able to do photography and school full time
5. What artists, musicians, photographers, writers, movies, books have influenced you/your work?
My favorite artist right now is Alyssa Monks and I've always loved Michaelangelo. My favorite bands have always been Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and anything rock or alternative. A couple of my favorite photographers are Michael Kenna and Kait Robinson.
6. Where do you get information about current national and international events?
I watch the news, along with social media such as facebook and instagram.
7. Are there any important websites that you are referencing for art/photo competitions and/or information? What websites do you regularly visit? What TV programs?
I am apart of a photography group on facebook called Cole's Classmates-Photo School where people post their own work for suggestions and feed back along with info on how they achieved certain looks for their images; I have really learned a lot from this page! I also refer to Senior Style Guide which is the number one senior portrait magazine/blog for senior photographers. I actually have been a featured photographer on their page 4 or 5 times. I also follow a website called ViewBug where photographers can enter their photos into contest to win prizes but I have yet to enter anything!
8. What museums and/or galleries have you been to in the past year?
I went to all of the exhibitions in the spring semester here on campus. I have been to the Dallas Museum of Art multiple times within the past year and just recently went to the Ft. Worth Museum of Modern Art.
9. Have you had any photo projects and/ or training in the past?
Yes I have!
10. What is the value of art for the artist?
Helps them figure out what style and type of art they are most interested in and is a way to express there ideas, passions, and thoughts on certain subjects through art.
11. What is the value of art for the audience?
To interpret art in they way that speaks to them. Everyone has different perspectives on art and what it means to them.
12. Is photography a vocation or an avocation?
It can be different for different people. Some people use photography as a hobby and like to do it in their spare time, but I think if you are or aspire to be a true photographer it is a calling and passion for you. "Anyone can take a picture...a person with a passion sees the picture before it's taken.
13. What is your passion?
Photography, art, teaching, animals and traveling.
14.What are you afraid of? What makes you uncomfortable?
I'm like deathly terrified of bee's. I get uncomfortable when I have to talk by myself in front of a huge crowd.

Yes
16. Why did you sign up for this class? What do you hope to learn from it?
To learn more about how to use photoshop and improve my skills on my camera.
17. Name three people who have influenced you and tell me how and why.
1. My mom and Dad because they have supported me through everything in my life all the way from sports, changing my major multiples times until I found the right fit, and even helping me start my very own photography business by the age of 19!
2. Holly Stevens who is an art history professor here at A&M Commerce. She made me fall in love with art and the history behind it.
3. My best friend, Brooke. We've been friends for 9 years and she's the one friend who's always stuck by my side and has always stayed my best friend no matter the distance or time between us.
18. Name three books (four, if one is the Bible) that have been important in your development. How have they influenced you?
1. The Bible because it help guide me through life and my faith.
2. Harry Potter Series because it's my favorite series ever and reminds me that you don't have to take everything so seriously
3. The Odyssey beacuse I've always been intrested in mythilogical/fantasy types of media.
4. Where the Red Fern Grows was the first book the I truly loved and had an emotional experience with
